Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Seniority NEVER meant anything to IBM Management except that the Older and Higher Paid were the most likely employees to be Resourced.

One other point to think about is when IBM created TSS back in the 1990's and EVERYONE that was moved to TSS had to Apply for their New/Old Job. It wasn't a move without a catch, if you weren't approved, you didn't have a job with TSS OR IBM.

The 90’s and TSS - having to interview for the job you were already doing. Only to lose one’s IBM years of service. They still doing that these days.
