Thread regarding Follett layoffs

USPS

Did Follett get hosed on their new contract with UPS, unaware/ uncaring of package limits, guessing $ surcharge above x amount daily, so now we have to ship SODA orders with USPS?

If you go in the red far enough they will shut off Po capabilities. However you may still generate purchase orders within qtc/otb(adjust as necessary to order more) and send via orders main. Just select check box and send it.

The logistics market place belongs to the shippers. That's been true since the FTC changed record keeping rules governing truckers. Logs are electronic. They're harder to fudge. Trucking companies began hiring drivers so they can keep freight moving. Their customers had to pay large surcharges for every load.
COVID complicated things even more.
Transport companies have more business than they can handle. No one is getting a good deal (outside of Bezos when dealing with the post office).
Volume limits are just one more way logistics are sticking it to their customers. You have to believe one could raise their limit if they paid a premium.
follett paying a premium? Ha! That's like a sitting president accepting a crushing defeat.

Get educated. ALL carriers are limiting customer volume for the holidays due to COVID. Look it up.

That's ok because with the drastic QTC cuts they want us to make, you won't have many books to ship out any way.
