Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Baker Surface Pressure Control sold off?

Pelican Energy Partners apparently acquired the Surface Pressure Control Flow Business Unit of Baker Hughes.
Pelican Energy Partners LP ("Pelican") seems to have, from what I have seen on internet, purchased the assets of the Surface Pressure Control Flow ("SPC Flow") business unit of the Oilfield Equipment segment of Baker Hughes. The independent company is apparently called Vault Pressure Control and maybe having pressure control customers in the US, Canada, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Trinidad & Tobago markets.
I'm not sure but I think they might have bought BJ Services from Baker also.

It will finally run smoothly. I know of some of the management team. They actually know what they're doing.
Run with it! And don't look back!

This was publicly announced Sep 10, 2020, preceded by massive layoffs.

BJ hands are even "denser" than Baker directional drillers. No loss to the company there then.

BJ Services is included in sale as a "freebie". Baker just wanted off the books.
