Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

@ibo+180OTstJ - Some Concho higher up people have been given preferred roles in the Lower48 while those that were in those roles prior to Concho were demoted. Real class act! Of course, once the Concho people get into their new roles within COP, they'll give all of their buddies jobs while long time COP employees get kicked into the road.

I didn’t catch his video. But I did see Dominic cruising around the streets midday in his shiny black Porshe carerra the other day. I guess he’s famous now.

Another empty suit from across the pond. He and his compadres did so well creating value that they have no home business to return to. The complete opposite of Concho leadership.

In short, Dominic laid out the 3 work streams they are working on. (1) team dedicated to the planning of the COP Concho integration (2) streamlining of COP exploration and (3) reductions in corporate center and cost reduction opportunities in region offices as well. COP has also rolled out an EOI (expression of interest) for employees to volunteer for a severance package.

He said all Concho staff will be laid off and their children and pets taken from them. He also said all conoco employees will be replaced by overseas telemarketers and chid laborers, with some managers being replaced by retired helper monkeys.
