We need to start beating up supervision, like fighting. Then they will not want to work here. New kids fresh out of college, these kids need a reality check anyways. Let's attack.

No supervision laid off, color me shocked!
Management did NOT get touched at Bellevue. Because they’re too valuable.. lol
Even though they couldn’t fix a squeaky door.
Went from 77 machinist in February 2019 to 10 including one SGL machinist. Who was never much of a machinist any way.
Just a BS artist. Who save a general foreman’s backside Who is a incompetent general foreman for 9 years! WTF really! Who is a general foreman for nine years? An Incompetent one . Two senior general foreman’s . I’ll bet one of them has a huge comic book collection and is probably some sort of dungeon master.. ! Lol ,No people skills at all. No common sense or any ability , except being able to play video games..
I say good riddance. Free at last free at last!
F-O NS !
No More BS rules no BS days off. management hiding in the bushes looking for someone to do something wrong, even though I’ve busted on countless times supervision walking and talking on cell phones and talking not crossing at a 90° angle to the track and bunch of other things not mounting and dismounting equipment with gloves.
No regrets. Met a lot of good people There.
Glad to have worked with them and got to share my life with them and they with me.will mis the laughs, the camaraderie, sweeting and freezing asses off
Good luck to all those who have been furloughed . Not just at Bellevue but across the system. Keep your head up and eyes on the skyline. Better things to come.
No looking back.
The economy has nothing to do with it. Corporate greed isn’t even the sole root of it. Terrible management is the reason for the “boots on the ground” layoffs. NS is trying to run and operate top heavy. Too many overvalued “beautiful mind” managers and not enough hard working, sweat necklace wearing, whatever it takes to get the job done workers. If you want the boat to run faster quit laying off paddlers and dump a few of your dead weight “captains.”
I told you all this from the start. Enola is next!
RRB is gonna go broke paying all this unemployment.
Not the economy dill weed. Corporate Greed.
If you have 20 years of service at any age, or 10 years of service and age 60, check out occupational disability through the rrb to see of you qualify.
My condolences to the people laid off. The ones left however are about to get NS’d the likes of which you have never seen.
After the appendix M claim is shot down by the company and the arbitrator everyone effected needs to come together and sue the company for contract infringement because that’s exactly what it is. Clear change in operation and restructuring going on. The company shouldn’t be able to keep a handful of people for a year just to bypass appendix M of our labor agreements. Appendix M was made to protect families from hardships and trying to find a loophole is as unethical as it gets.
