Focusing on customer's needs has never led me astray. There's so much noise in HV, but signals are there. Connect with the people you work with; listen to them. Connect with your customers; listen to them. Win on your terms, not theirs.

The success of Google came by way of using the KIS principle ... Keep It Simple. Hitachi is trying to put too many businesses under one roof and losing customer focus in the process. This is not only confusing for the employees but for the customers as well. The customer is not going to order furniture at a car dealership. Need the focus on your product and your customer. Keep the pipeline simple. I‘ve seen two many products shoved down the customer’s throat only to become door stops and shelf ware.
