OK. We get it. Your bleeding red ink and the only way to survive is not with new products but with layoffs. This works if you have a direction but you don’t. So expect more layoffs in the future to keep the bottom line afloat which will not last long. Time is running out at Hitachi Vantara (what a stupid name).

The THEY who chose to make people redundant includes the head of HR. Disgusting.
Amazon just announced their earnings. AWS was flat only bringing in $11 billion in revenue. Does anyone understand what this means for Hitachi Vantara? We will be lucky if we are flat.
As one of the survivors, I am still waiting for the next round. This is my last Hi-Tech gig for sure. The on ly solution the company has is to RIF and replace CEOs. Then we also buy c-appy companies as well. Lest not forget hiring Brad, now there's a real winner, they should have never hired such a loser from GE, who brought in his other losing cronies, who btw are no longer here. One Hitachi, who the heck are we kidding. Then there are the guy in ITPro...... We have the talent here, and should be doing the development here. Hitachi should stick to rice cooker, elevators, excavators etc. If you want to develop gear for the enterprise and cloud, it should be drive from the U.S.
They made us take that @$$hole survey before the layoffs. Let’s see the results.
"....The employees did what was asked. The management? "
The management continuous to give all the bvll $h!t, to employees, get high pay & secure their retirement, drive this company to the ground.
Leadership IS dismal. It doesn't change the fact that we made a profit in 2020 to date. The employees did what was asked. The management?
Where were the profits? Why didn’t they share some of the profits by giving raises?
Customers are leaving in droves. There is no reason to think this is a Cloud company. Morale is so LOW throughout all business units. Leadership is dismal.
We're NOT bleeding red ink. WE made a profit in the 2020H1 - THEY chose to make people redundant regardless.

The name probably was chososen by some exec during a night of wine and dine at a luxury restaurant and when suddenly they heard the song "Guantanamera by The Sandpipers"
