I wonder what cool acronym the leadership team will give the latest round of layoffs? How about ConocoPhillips Offers New Concho Hires Our jobs? Or just CONCHO jobs for short... At least it has a better ring to it than the Corporate Optimization for Sustainable Transformation project.

I like Choco since the acquired company gets to make the decisions on who stays. It sounds like chocolate so rl can feel happy, but will feel like a choke sensation to cop employees who are on the 6th lay-off round in 7 years
