If rebadged... check everything

I was rebadged to HCL in April of 2019 and laid off in April 2020... when they offered benefits... I declined because I didn’t need them at all.
Well, they still automatically enrolled me and my primary carrier pulled all payments.
I was able to get some things figured out... so I thought... HCL switched vendors and “lost my file”. I’m now fighting for all medical coverage payments for 2019-April 2020... never paid into United Healthcare. Even they are perplexed and frustrated with HCL who just gives runaround a...

Payroll with HCL is tricky. And once you are no longer an employee, you cannot access your old paystubs. After you last day, that’s the last day you can log in to print paystubs.

I was automatically enrolled as well. I had even submitted the opt out paperwork. First pay i noticed the deduction. They said they would fix it but still had deduction for next 2 pays. By the 3rd pay cycle they finally stopped it but then took 3 more pay cycles to get the money back.

How do you pay a year of medical without realizing it? I would have sorted it out after viewing my first paystub from HCL.
