With the Nooks not working and the latest hack/ data breach , expect to lose even more customers. BN digging their own grave.

For how our store is staffed 50 percent is breaking even, our store is one of the busier one but we are overwhelmed.

Shout out to the ladies running the New England area stores!

Sales are going up, and we’ve got a great team ready to tackle the upcoming Holiday season.

Stores look great, too!

Quit also. When the store manager was YELLING at us for not cleaning the toilets good enough, it was time to go. 200+ people peeing all over the place every day and the booksellers are expected to be a proper janitor? No thanks.

200 people ?! We’re lucky if 30-40 came in here yesterday!

Hepatitis! This was always a huge legal issue back when B&N could pay their employees. Now that they have nothing to lose, they're having regular employees risk their health.
We've had two people have heart attacks at our store and still HR doesn't investigate the cause!
And you know the cause!
It's amazing to me that employees will put up with their shlt- there's no way I will, I don't get paid enough!

You can’t be breaking even if business is down 50-60%. That’s heading to chapter 11.

My store is 60 percent down from plan on average except on Saturday than it’s about 50 percent. We are essentially breaking even but barely.

Why can't BN just close already? No one cares about them, just go away BN forever. Down with BN and Daunt.

Corporate had the stores cut payroll 50%. They also got rid of the cleaning staff. The managers and booksellers are cleaning toilets etc. Things have to be very bad. And now there is a surge in COVID with the start of the holiday shopping season.
