Thread regarding Pratt and Whitney layoffs

More coming ?

When is round 2 scheduled for? Or do the total numbers of the VSP, first ISP, contractor terminations etc add up to 15,000 ?

Maybe skip the Pratt level bonus payouts in 2021. That might save some cash

Yellow badges do count. That’s a large reason why engineering wasn’t hit as hard by the ISP - because contractors and VSP made up a significant amount of the reduction they needed.

Those of us who remain got a message from Calio a few days ago saying that layoffs are complete and that we’re now at the headcount they think we need for next year. It seems like they’re also counting on merit raises next year even, and mentioned the possibility of more furloughs. It seems like they can always just skip the merit again and do more furloughs before more layoffs are necessary.

Yes, I agree... Im adding up the numbers, there seems to be at least 3000 more layoffs??? I didn't count the contractors though but leadership is saying that the layoffs are complete... but with furloughs possibly next.
