To answer your question, yes, round 2 is coming. The fact that many people still work few hours means there are too many. Minorities won’t be spared this time as most are not contributors, but were hired in the past due to “regulations”.
While we do not expect 100 hours per week, 65 is not unreasonable, especially in these times.
While I have had to PIP several employees, I have more to go. We reviewed the process using a JLA, and some of the QIs were that we waited too long, should have done this much sooner (too much LOT and more to capture). Another QI was why pay 3 months to get a NSI to leave - it is not necessary. An LPSA reveals that paying someone to leave is wasted expense and hits the ones who stay. If someone wants to sue, we can drag it out longer, besides, we already own all the lawyers where we operate.
In summary, if you are not a contributor, you should be looking for a job.
