Back in May of this year (2020) I was RA'ed (IBM jargon for laid off) with a 30/90 (30 days till termination with 90 day severance). This meant that June 30th would have been my last day. I was on the GTS side of IBM.
Then less than 1 week before my final day, I got a stay of execution and was put on a 90/90 (90 days till layoff (sept 30th) with 90 day severance). Then a week before my second final day I ended up getting hired on another IBM account on the GBS side of things. Now it's middle of October and I am still getting "onboarded" to the new account.
With the recent announcement of the Split, what is the over/under of me getting laid off again? (I mean RA'ed)

Hate to break it to you but the record for getting paid to do nothing for the longest time at IBM was set by Ginni and is still being served by the current Board of Directors and all SVPs.
I was RA'd in same time. GTS. Was working on an account with a team of mostly contractors making half the money I was. Also most 20 years younger than myself. You're just a number to them! As a team lead I saw and heard some of the bull that the execs treated people. No raise for 7.5 years. Probably spoke to my last manager 5 times in the last 2.5 years.
No training on the account to support, but yet, was criticized for not knowing their legacy apps. I can go on and on.
Worst company to work for. Hope they go down in flames
What up with that bew Red Hat team you are dealing with?
I have heard that the relationship between IBM and Red Hat is a total disaster.

I have been doing nothing at IBM for the past two years while billing my customers outrageous amounts of money... and it looks like this dream is about to continue for at least another year!!!
I think there are plenty of id–ts at IBM (for sure), but even more id–ts at customers!!

Yes, I have been getting paid to do nothing by IBM for almost 5 months now.
That's why I am hoping to get RA'ed again. I want the record for getting paid to do nothing for the longest time at IBM, because IBM is run by a bunch of ID-10-Ts.
