Thread regarding Gulfstream Aerospace layoffs

Undocumented work

So a little issue arose at work. It seems that a lot of undocumented work is being conducted on the GVII program with the express permission of several senior managers and the current director. Any info?

A fuel small fuel leak isn't a big deal. A fuel leak due to a cracked plank is a different story.

I haven't worked there in over a year so it won't affect me. There are whistleblower protections in the law. If you have such great info, post a link to it here. I'll gladly make a burner email address if you want to send it there instead.

Cellphone pictures of the emails and all. Only incompetent management would think corrupt IT would protect them. Only 1000 ppl viewed that email. Lol.

Nice try! I have the proof. Better resign and get the golden parachute before the hammer drops. Lots of leadership involved.

drtr. That's how I know this is BS. Pilots have to fly those planes. They're going to cover up a fuel tank issue on a plane they have to go fly around? And the AR's that would be responsible for signing off crabs as use-as-is? They'd be personally responsible.

Outside Ops is where all the bodies are buried. Routinely flying planes with known problems that should ground them to get them to fuel tank inspections so they can properly troubleshoot and fix the real problem. Coordinator and manager are well aware. Saved emails will expose the truth, I have the proof. Pilots are in on everything. Heads are gonna roll.

I’ve seen stuff but I can’t prove it. At this point it would just be a disgruntled ex employee disparaging the company.

They can’t put something in a separation agreement that requires you to break the law or cover up an unlawful act. A lawyer would have a field day with that.

Doubt this post is by an employee under a severance agreement. The consequences for discussing these things in public forums were clearly laid out in our agreement. Plus, what would we have to gain? My lips are sealed.

Wonder why all that legal mumbo jumbo was in the separation agreements? Hmmm...maybe they’ve lost track of the people who know where the bodies are buried.

Anybody that has spent time "on the floor" with an ambitious manager will identify with this situation.

If you have legit info/suspicion of any undocumented maintenance or work being performed it needs to be reported to the FAA immediately. Don’t come on this site turning the rumor mill because you have nothing better to do. That last thing anyone needs is another 737 max... like another poster said, people with families fly on these jets, over cities and neighborhoods full of more people with families.

Time to call 1-800-FAA. Remember, people with families fly on these airplanes

Production. Rumor has it, its been going on for some time now. Without any repercussions or any care for moral integrity.
