II hear they are hiring 50 or more for flight test from a friend of mine in the fab team. He liked working there and then was pulled back after the riff. He had said the Army wasn't as screwed up as the management in his building. I was let go and I am loving the time off.
Suggest they focus on the Facilities Team Leadership in Savannah, outsource them just like they have the lower level employees.
Dallas only had one product. IAI / G280 completions.
Service is supposed to move to Alliance airport in Ft Worth, but they have been whittling away at manpower every quarter in Dallas. I understand the number was closer to 30 people last Friday, all from completions.

@Please explain your intent. Obviously the intent of the OP is sharing upsetting news about his colleagues getting fired and his fear for his own livelihood. Why is he feeling negative..., gee, you really have to ask? The intent here is to share news, and warn others that the deep layoffs that have occured with astonishing regularity over the past 3 years at this company, will likely continue unless a major change occurs in leadership and organization. Since that isn't happening, if you are aged 50+, . you have a statistically greater chance of getting laid off in the next purge, which if recent past history is a guide, is coming shortly. This isn't fear mongering. It is a reality check. If the information you see here is upsetting to you, no one is forcing you to be here.

Please explain your intent with this post? Bad management? Do you watch the news? Have you read jetcareers forums lately? How does spreading negativity help anyone except leading people who DO have jobs to irrational fear? Advice for anyone and everyone–ALWAYS keep your resume updated, network, pay attention to trends in the industry, and don't carry negativity. In fact, don't even come here anymore. Seriously, how is this helping your well being? You do NOT know the validity of info here, and if anything, this perpetuates fear mongering. The best thing you can do is show up, have a great attitude, and always have a plan B. Live that way and you won't seek this for validity anymore. Live by this. Amen.

I work in completion Savannah. I not know of anyone been laid off or the number. But people are talking about the lay off coming in Oct or Nov 2020. Company isn't doing well. Big bonuses are still been handed out to LTM Team and other management.
Is it just Dallas or company wide. Have they laid off anyone in Savannah, Ga and does anyone know the number of people to be laid off?
