I was let go. So sad!
I was told 4 weeks no matter how many years of service..
Not a generous package that you speak of
Layoffs started/happened this morning at 8 am. The package is the same as the VSP – one week of pay per year worked, unused vacation days paid back and a lump sum based on the years worked, between 2,000 and 6,000 + 1 year employee scholar program and benefits for the duration of the severance. Same as everybody else in the industry.
My department (EH engineering mod center) had an emergency all hands at 11am saying all our layoffs were complete by 10am
if you dont already know, you are probably safe.
yeah, it's feeling real now.
Now I just want to know when I can breathe again.
