It would be a case of the emperor has no clothes. IBM hides cloud revenue behind a combination of Red Hat (which we know is only $1B/year), Services and Systems revenue. It’s been a well known fact to the Street that they have been doing this. Now we’ll find out just how much of GTS has contributed to this shell game. Anticipate most of GBS revenue to fill the gap and for it to be declared the next “dog” that “doesn’t fit with our strategy.” Sounds familiar?
That would be a business with only $1B in revenue per year.
