I keep seeing comments that some departments don’t know their fate. What a shame and a disgrace!

Ah, so that’s where the confusion is. The rmbc (risk management business center) is property and casualty, personal lines. We work with agents writing new business and retaining it, etc.
Entirely different than claims.
I’m talking about life underwriting. No idea what RMBC is. You people really need to learn that not everyone on here is claims. It’s beyond frustrating. There’s a whole other world out there and we are going through the same thing.
I think they’re trying to force people to leave... they now are docking shift diff until 3pm or after..
I know people in HR and IT who are still waiting on word for the assessments they took about a month ago.
All areas of Marketing including CR.
Ivantage finds out next week with finals days of employment the middle of December right before the holidays.
Most areas of Encompass and Ivantage are still under assessment review and should hear by end of October of their fate.
It’s on the rmbc community page, under the ‘watch now!’ Section
Is claims done or will there be more cuts by the end of the year?
Underwriting is still waiting. The first poster is wrong. We don’t know if there will be more cuts or not. We already had some in May, we were the first area. We were told there wouldn’t be any this year (they need us for fourth quarter) but also that we run pretty lean so we aren’t sure if there will be more or not.
I thought they said the cuts would be done by end of september. Its october and they are still doing cuts?
RMBC is still to be informed of there cuts. There are areas in agency service and customer service still under assessment review. Almost all of ASAP being eliminated but they are still under assessment review. Areas of tech just got their assessments. A lot of people will have their 60 days end right at or before Christmas. It really is a sad state if affairs and a an outright disgrace.
Underwriting. We were told there would be cuts. Not sure who or when. Ohio RMBC finds out late October.
