Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

New day new beginning

One door closes, other opens. Everything happens for a reason. How do you know this was the best job you’ve ever had, next one could or will be even better. Opportunities are born during times like these. Don’t be an employee , be an employer. Start thinking now, your mind is playing games with you. Don’t stress, don’t panic, you have a gifted brain, use it. Don’t let someone else decide your faith, don’t depend on US Bank to control your life. Be control if your life today.

Good luck all! We can do this together!

In my case I was in TOS at US Bank for 15 years, but got sent packing about 2 years ago. I didn’t pursue higher paying jobs during that time because I thought I had job security. I thought wrong. They also had us so segregated in our job roles that my skills got stale. I was great at the US Bank processes, but not keeping up with newer technologies.

It was the best thing that ever happened to my career! I was able to collect unemployment and used the entire 4 months to study cloud technology. All day every day. Just start getting certificates in the cloud. When I put my resume out there I got flooded with recruiters and more importantly was able to pass interviews in cloud tech.. Now I’m making more money than I ever thought I would make. Banks are OVER, the cloud tech enables people to work remotely and that’s huge!

I wish everyone would just stop being afraid, quit their jobs and enjoy the rest of the year. Truth is that people have not saved enough and feel trapped in a hamster wheel. I can testify that US Bank owes you nothing and that there are jobs 100x more fun, 100x less political and way better paid. Quit now, see who owns who.
