I heard the dispatchers were approached to why velocity was down , I'm sure it has nothing to do with the vast territories they have now and can't keep up. With all the employee reduction, they have made every job reactive and not proactive. 1 employee doing the job of 2 or even 3 in some cases. Union Pacific saying that the cuts were to improve efficiency, is total BS when the after cuts were made, the ones left are scheduled for 6 day work weeks. Glad I'm no longer with Union Pacific, pity the ones still there.

San Antonio Service Unit can only run trains with 40 or more cushioned drawbars at 40 MPH. We were told this would be more efficient.
Velocity is down because they're making us use the sh#$ty EMS system. TO and LDR SU4K
Senior management screws things up and then it’s rocket science to them figure out why everything isn’t working. So much for Masters and all sorts of degrees they brag about and have no brain to see that the problem is the way they are running the company. They really have their heads very far up their arses.
