Leaving Exxon

I am dropping my papers this week.
It was a hard decision, many back and fourths with the wife.
I was tired of feeling like a second class citizen in the downstream.
Foreign bosses from countries I had not heard of before - female "leadership" significantly younger then me - I'm old fashion, it was too much for me.

I didn't play the game correctly. Maybe I should have participated in pride week and put a little LGBT alliance picture on yammer.

Whatever... it doesn't matter anymore. This week if you see burnt rubber near the "Orwellian" speeding cameras, think of me.

Fair winds and following seas to those of you who ride this out.

If we could just find all of those like you that are unable to see their own incompetence, and get rid of you, we could perhaps thrive again! Good riddance! Make sure you put these precious qualities in your resume, so you can find a fitting job.

Didn’t management get p-ssed off when Ricciardo went over 25 mph in his Formula 1 car during an event at the campus for, wait for it, a sport where cars go really fast? Silly, small incident but said a lot about the higher ups.
