Who has line of sight to TalentSuite?
My worry is this is another medium to fake or break your staff.

Getting more info on people who may or may not be on the redeployment list. They are filling open positions with people already at United that are going to likely be laid off. They want hiring managers to be able to have enough info on you to see if you could do their job without you actually applying, showing interest, and they cannot get your resume. 4

Common sense says, advanced degree and industry certification together with top notch industry experience would come at a premium.
Hope we are not comparing apples to oranges, but I would not be surprised based on my experience there.
Optum State Govt. has most fluff & inefficient processes to justify the headcounts.

I hate to be a negative nelly but I do know there are a lot of talent mapping activities happening right now for the purpose of re-aligning staff to other departments. Some departments are growing, some are likely facing layoffs and the company does make an effort to internally transfer staff whenever possible vs. laying them off.

If you are higher paid than your peers they may also being looking to justify your salary.

TalentSuite is being updated and talentvreviews in a few weeks. Likely being asked in order to ensure that the systems accurately reflect the capabilities of the emolotyes.

Geez, no issues with this request. A number of people should be asked this question right now. UHC leadership asking all department heads to perform a review of advanced education and certification updates, to position those targeted for advancements to be identified.

When managers are looking for justifications to promote employees they sometimes need more information that might set that employee apart from others. It's all about expected career trajectory (promotability) and runway (expected years left at co.).

There could be a pending lawsuit from a former employee for wrongful termination. They could be claiming they were more qualified than others with an advanced degree and specific training while others did not.
