So when are the US layoffs being announced? We’ve seen some rumors around boxes and Dec 1st. Can anybody else confirm that? When is the US work study finalized? DW said “several months” in his email today but that’s vague. Is the goal to get rid of folks before year end? Thanks :)

Evidently they have forgotten about Covid too. Looks like we won’t be headed back to the campus before Jan. 1st at this point. However, no announcement to extend the previously announced Nov 1 date. I guess everyone is worried or working on staff reductions.
Does anyone know the package or nothing the company offered to European employees? I heard two different “packages”: nothing and 0.8 week per service year. It is hard to believe either of the two.
In the tradition of XOM's letting go people, many will be told right before the coming Thanksgiving Holiday. That way, lesser people in the office to chaos. If not Thanksgiving, Christmas holiday, which is the Grinch that XOM has been.

GP forum today regarding salary/compensation in light of the GP reorg. Bottom line was no basically no change to salaries, but man. It’s sad to see everyone in the slido asking all these questions about salary/raises/relocation opportunities/etc. Everyone on the LT knows that forum is a charade. A significant portion of the people asking questions probably won’t be here for it to matter. Why are they putting us through all this misdirection bs, giving ppl false hope etc. Pathetically quintessential display of EM culture I’m sad to say.
Which forum? Our VP said don't expect anything voluntary in the US.
