I hope they all realize they should move out of Houston. Or stay hidden in their homes for many years and hire people to shop and fill their gas tanks. Shameful......just shameful.....

As for the DJ, we need to check the history book Back to 2005. DJ Nio never made a profit, you’re right- but the original Patina tite Gas production gave Noble badly needed ST cash flow in 2005-2006 when most our organic growth promised LT cash flow but not ST cash. That was the basis for the Patina merger which was brilliant. Then later came the koolaid-drinking Shale que—rs who never made a profit as you say - 2 different eras.

@1nho+17eh3UZC So true!!! How many financial analysts resigned or were given the boot because they wouldn't drink the Kool-Aid???? And Land Dept was spending cash like a drunk playboy!!!
DJ never made a profit look at the books...
Disagree with the comment about Chuck. He was the best CEO I ever worked for and took the company from $2B to about $25B. Yes he got us into the Marcellus, but DJ was great for many years, even before the Nio shale, and he left Exploration with a viable portfolio. Then DS came in, decimated the Exploration portfolio to nothing, refused all good deals, fired or sidelined all the good people, and sold off the Deepwater GOM which for years had been a great cash cow until he and his buddies ruined it.
In the end, Chuck’s only big mistake was DS.
In general the management has been tainted for years and it’s sad. Shadows all of the good work we have all done. I cannot watch another video of an executive telling me how “proud” they are of us. Proud? Really? Then why are you leaving with millions??
Why no sorry?
Why no shame?
Chuck approved the deals that eventually cratered the company...he had the Golden touch and left before the 2020 Foundation crumbled.
When does Noble officially become part of Chevron? Also, no doubt Stover, Fisher and the rest of them truly believe they somehow saved “Noble” even though it will no long exist. Doesn’t do any good but I’ve often wondered if there would have been a different outcome if Chuck Davidson was still CEO.
