Thread regarding Pratt and Whitney layoffs

Check Collins page. Last post 2 weeks ago

Pratt and collins are in the same boat. We both saw the 15k cuts but they are not freaking out scared, angry. Why do you think they have no posts for 2 weeks and we have hundreds,?

My guess is they are being treated with respect and being informed as much as possible. It makes a difference.

A lot of Salaries at Collins took early retirement package. So they must have more than what they need to get rid of.

Yes I spoke with one of my Collins colleagues and according to them they are 99% complete with laying off folks - at least for the rest of this year....

Keep hearing the big day for P&W will be Oct 15 or the following week. Take the next couple weeks to prepare yourselves....

Collins layoffs took place in one day on 7-29 and as far as I know, they are done. I was one of the casualties.

Must not have gone far, look at this site. I personally have seen or heard one word spoken, written or video from RTX or Pratt. Except indirect from Hayes online Sept 16th.

I have seen on here some people heard from a VP recently but that is just on here.

It does not take 3 degrees to see the difference and figure out that their leadership must have handled it differently. They probably acknowledge what Hayes said right away. And are keeping them informed as much as possible.
