Thread regarding Pratt and Whitney layoffs

I thought today was the last day?

Why is October 15 now being mentioned as the end date for layoffs? I thought everything would be wrapped up by the end of today? Are you now telling me that we have to go through two more weeks of this c-ap? How are we supposed to function in that time with all the layoff-related stressing?

Per the PW grapevine as of last week, 3 rounds of lay-offs. Last one by November 15th.

Salary pay is based off every two weeks . Sept 30th and next paycheck October 14 makes sense

From what I’m hearing, a good chunk are going to be done by the end of this week. Only makes sense since we’re going into Q4

Yea. Seems like we have to keep dealing with more stress. I’ve heard mention of Oct 15th for a few months. They want to capture the financials to make 4Q look good to the Street.
