Anyone have any idea who would buy Riverbed assets? Figured that the portfolio would be sold in pieces, just curious who would actually buy it. I figure companies like Juniper, HPE or CA may buy the portfolio but who knows.

I guess the question is, what is riverbed’s exit strategy?
Answer: No one.
There is no single growing product in RVBD portfolio.
SteeConnect/Steelhead/Steelfusion all soon-to-be dead or already dead products. Support contracts only.
SaaS Accelerator gives some benefits only when you work +30 msec away from Microsoft Datacenter and there is no such place in EMEA/US/APJ. Only in South America and Africa you might need SteelheadMobile/SaaS Accelerator to see any difference. Bandwidth reduction is 2000's issue, there is no problem with bandwidth today.
Aternity was OKish as a package with SteelCentral, without it it will die in 12-18months. Aternity Sales are leaving.
Deal with Versa....forget it.
