You are being impacted but they are holding your bonus money until March 2021?!!!!! Is that legal?

There are more than just claims people that work at Allstate... sales org earns much of their income in bonus/variable comp. It’s earned based on performance so try and hold back some of the hostility.

The sales org was told they’ll get their bonus included with their severance in Nov and now that money is being held until March. Many of these folks have families to support and that’s a big part of their income they now need to figure out how to replace on top of finding a job during the holidays and a pandemic.

If you’re not bonus eligible that’s your issue, but stop getting triggered every time someone mentions a bonus on this site.

This is true, Staff Managers (E) band, Senior Managers (F) band and above get a bonus at their PDS depending on how the company did the year before AND IT IS AT THE MANAGERS DISCRETION -
I can't see Allstate sending out a bonus to an ex- employee, regardless if it is earned.

Not sure why someone would bring this particular issue up when most people are not bonus eligible.

Read the severance pkg paperwork under AIP.

Bonuses are a wonderful thing! They are prorated and paid in March. Profit sharing is prorated and paid in February.

Bonus money is that a joke?
No regular employee gets a bonus never did never will.
Go cry somewhere else

Not true. At Esurance we used to get yearly bonuses before Allstate decided to discontinue the brand. We were told we'd still get our bonus, though prorated for the first six months of the year in February/March of 2021.

That was before the layoffs happened, though. Not sure what the plan is now.
