San Diego layoffs

I'm curious to hear if layoffs have started in San Diego.

While I am no longer in CA.. I'm what was known as a "Lifer". I started at SeaWorld WAY back in the AB days. Things were different. Different people, beliefs, values, etc. I think working for SW for so many years I've clung to the good times thinking I could keep the past alive... The "Lifers" had passion for conservation and animal welfare made SeaWorld SeaWorld. As we "Lifers" are pushed out the door, most of the passion is gone for those who are left.

While change is scary, I would strongly encourage anyone left to take your talents and passion to another company where the will be valued. Secure your futures.

SeaWorld will never be what it once was.

We are waiting to hear for sure.... Expecting it for sure so they can hire for less hours, pay and less benefits... SAD. but oh well... Will /have -missed my (TRUE) SWC fam when the axe falls on the CA team...

To my knowledge, it was only parks that were fully open that laid off their employees. I'd imagine San Diego is on its way to layoffs eventually, along with Williamsburg (if they aren't already fully open, I'm not sure).

I am curious too. I don't work at Seaworld anymore so I had assumed that furloughed San Diego employees had already been laid off.
