I honestly don’t know if it’s just me but my manager always seems angry and hostile. He shows absolutely no respect to his peers or those who report to him. I can deal with his arrogance, but everything else including his attitude makes me grit my teeth until my jaw hurts. And I really want to make a complaint against him but I never do because I'm pretty sure I'd just be putting a target on my back.

To OP, you are not alone, ,many employee has similar type of managers that bullied their subordinate or peers, arrogance, ignorant, back stabbing, and claim credit on things they never did. The worst part, the manager's upper management encourage it and allow it to continue.
If anyone reported it, HR would target the person who file a complain and get ride of the complainer. The "arragone, bully manager " will remain on the job.
