The real reason you were let go. You've been here 20-30+ years and are still doing the same job you were doing 5 years ago. If your still doing the same job you were doing 5 years ago, you are no longer relevant and competitive for the company. Oh and you make too much. So might as well replace you with someone younger and cheaper who can do your job better and actually brings innovation to the company.

McKinsey planted the economics in TW's ear a long time ago...he has been patiently waiting until now. I hope that the plaintiff bar sues ALL into bad faith oblivion. Of course, TW and his estimated $85 million net worth will be long gone.
Whoever wrote this post is a total id–t. The reason a 30 year employee has lasted is because they bring innovation, quality, results, and experience to the table. They are able to teach the id–ts like this who wrote the post. But someone like this is an ignorant fool who cannot be taught. This was all financial and they more than likely flipped coins
As much as everyone hates Op he has a point. They do not care about knowledge or good customer service anymore, all that want is fast and cheap and the least amount spent on payroll. Cheap basic estimates and hope they don’t fix their car (hence Direct deposit their claim payment). Handle everything possible in India. It’s better to have cheap ignorant adjusters handling claims so they do the bare minimum the cheapest way possible and never question Allstate’s ridiculous, unethical claim handling. Getting rid of tenured folks is a win for corporate on many fronts.
This post is what we commonly refer to as “trolling”
20-30 year employees actually know how to resolve a Claim in a coherent manor. Training, customer interactions, policy knowledge all add value to the process. Certainly we have earned wage increases over the decades, I hope all the new hires do also.
