Husky is basically having people reapply for roles by the looks of it. Upload resumes and such

I'm not sure as to what extent the resumes will be used internally but it is good to be prepared in the event you are packaged out. You will not have access to your personal information in Workday after being severed from the company so gather things like your job history, your yearly goals & accomplishments, compensation break-out, copies of paystubs and tax slips. Go through Workday and gather any other personal information of yours that may be of use in your future job search. It will be so much tougher to piece together this information from memory if you're no longer with the company. With an updated resume in hand it might not be a bad idea to send it out externally to gauge the responses back.
In my experience at Husky it doesn’t matter how good you are, it’s all about who you know. If your cronies are safe then you are probably safe.
Well Dumba$$. If all they are going off is an internal resume that everyone is spending hours on right now putting them together instead of doing actual work that’s pretty stupid. My group lead told us he’s spent hours putting his together because he’s worried that’s all they are going off of. So now all our team is spending hours using up time to do this. If you want to figure out who the best employees are here’s an idea; talk to the group leads who work with us every day vs a electronic piece of paper which people can make look like anything they want. People’s personalities and work ethic so not come across on a resume.
Shocking! TheY want to choose the most qualified “best” if you will... people. The outrage!
A package will be a nice welcoming Christmas present! Bring it on!
Cenovus too, “update your internal resumes so we can pick the better person, but don’t worry you don’t have to reapply for your jobs”
