Updates on MANAGEMENT

I come here to find out what's going on at the other stores, to see how it will affect us and if we'll be next to experience the wrath. How are all of you being treated? I know low-level management usually toughs it out and keeps it to themselves until they hopefully find a better job and leave.

I rarely see managers writing on here anymore. Was there a memo or lecture I missed from corporate? I guess they don't want anyone spreading the bad news on social media which I get, but you can't ignore empty stores. That's telling.

Don't tell me that hag is back on here again. That Mother Teresa routine has gotten so old, no one is buying it, honey!

I told everyone I work with they can tell me what they want to say and I'll post it on here for them.
I'm not afraid of those ridiculous threats. I work harder than anyone and have the right to post any issues we have. And don't even talk about that joke of HR Dept! Everyone I know who has complained to them has had nothing resolved.

There, you see why BN employees criticize managers? Because of nasty attitudes like this. And, even if you're a manager, your sphere of influence is only where you work–your store. You're not the manager of this forum, & you have no right to suggest that employees, who are free to interact here outside of work, will never work at their store again. You should be ashamed of yourself for threatening people on this forum. It's free speech. Maybe you should refrain from visiting this site if you have difficulty reading the truth of how BN employees feel about how they're being treated.

"I am a manager and I am watching very carefully to see if anyone from my store is writing on here. Several employees have already been dealt with and one will never work here again. "

B&N sure has the laziest and nastiest management, don't they?

Assume I work in store. Get off your phone. Come out of the office. And, actually help us on the floor !

Have you guys been told to stay off social media again? Every time I bring up something up I've read, they tell me to stop reading this site. So of course, I keep coming back! I'm not stupid.

The empty stores speak volumes!
Customers have been told by those laid off & their friends and family how bad BN is. Christmas will be dismal for BN.
