Country shuts down. Bankrupt. Business down 75%. Lost State Farm. Denied stock sales and bonuses from the courts. Oversold fleet. Closed all car sales permanently. Delisted. Business still down 50%. AND HERE COMES ANOTHER SHUT DOWN. (and liquidation, right on time)

The company is a dumpster. So tired of hearing that we were on an upswing with Kathy at the helm. Really? What a joke. This company has been run into the ground. Major debt and could not hang on a. I think after the corona virus hit. You have a sales director that thinks he’s something and is still taking a big salary with virtually no sales force in place. Biggest kiss a– I have ever met. Toss this guy out with the trash.
Hertz car sales will return. In one form or another.
It may return as a separate division of car max
I dont know why people think car sales will return. That avenue is as dead as it gets for Hertz.

Yes the whole economy is suffering, but most companies weren’t so highly leveraged. Hertz’ debt to asset ratio has been off the chart for years. Don’t kid yourself in to thinking this is a pandemic issue. This is years of mismanagement coming to a head. The only thing the pandemic did was speed it up.
Hertz is restructuring and in general the whole economy is suffering.
Especially travel and hospitality. It will eventually trickle down to every sector.
It’s not only a hertz problem it’s Global economy problem as a whole.
Hopefully by March. Things return to some sort of normalcy and you’ll see Hertz Car sales and rentals returning to a new normal.
Only fools stay and beg for more pain.
