I think it was implemented in June of this year that if you put in for tuition reimbursement, you must stay at least 1 year from when you receive it, otherwise you must pay it back. I would like to assume that if you received tuition reimbursement prior to this that it would not apply because this never used to be a thing (seeing as I had gone back to school specifically with cutting ties from Anthem once I was done!) but I could also see them being indian-givers about it as well.

Someone obviously figured out how bad the brain drain was in this company and put the kibosh on people saying "peace out" with their newly paid for degrees. Sad thing is, if this company treated its employees better, this wouldn't even need to be a thing in the first place.

I got a few semesters left. I will probably put in for reimbursement this year, but not next year, and just use the reimbursement from this year to pay for next year, so when I leave this company they'll at least have saved themselves a few semesters of education rather than keeping a competent worker at the helm!

It depends when you received the money. There is a cut off time. I believe it is March. So if you received any reimbursements this year after March and you leave this year, then you will be responsible for paying it back. There is information about this in Pulse.

@OP+17XCNeNF Tuition assistance, perhaps those terns were outlined when you signed up? Seems odd to would have to ask that here. From what I know and it's only chatting with people on the program, that they will continue to pay as long as you uphold the GPA ,attendance, guidelines etc.
