Listen everyone is affected by the changes Allstate has made. There is no need for the rudeness when an employee has been selected for the RIF. To the people on this platform that replies on others frustration, have some empathy, because it could be you on the other end of table. Also, if you were selected and have a negative attitude, I hope you you change your ways.

If people don't have total faith in the cult of Allstate and/or are maybe critical of Glenn, Eric, Tom and the leadership team in general it's "negative attitude" that needs to be purged.
I agree. I think what the author is saying is show some empathy towards the people who are being let go. I’ve seen comments made that weren’t very nice, so I do get where they are coming from.
Please don't be self-righteousness! People need to vent somewhere. Since most aren't comfortable being honest in company surveys, maybe they feel they can come here to say what is really on their minds. So since you like to kick people when they're dow, how about we kick you to the curb!
I love it when HR tries to get in the mix with a post like this touting the benefits of toxic positivity and trying to invalidate and minimize what happens to be one of life’s most stressful and destructive events.
Agree - being let go is tough, at least there is a severance
The attitude exhibited here by many, sounds like they are cutting loose the right folks .... you can’t go into a new organization spewing vile about your prior employer or you won’t last long there either
