The writing is on the wall, more cuts ahead. Many were told they were safe but weren’t given a job offer. Still in limbo wondering what’s going on.

More cuts? Pope Catholic? Bear S*!t in the woods? Frog's a$$ watertight? Sky blue? One-legged duck swim in circles? Pope wear a silly hat? 4 pound robin fat? is a hole close to a donut? do fish swim? is there anybody smarter than DS? Is this supposed to be some kind of a joke?
If you weren't offered a position (received an offer letter) a few weeks ago, can't see how you could be told you were safe. That ship has sailed. Something sounds fishy. Even if you did receive an offer letter, position could be in jeopardy going forward. At least you can take advantage of the CoC package even cut within 24 months close.
It sounds like layoffs/cuts/downsizing will be standard at CVX just like it was at NBL. Unfortunately, individual/team performance doesn't count as much as it used to. Get ready for the silo's to go up and the group think to begin again.
