Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

everything, and i mean EVERYTHING, from home office is about cutting expenses and making profits look good. even if it means "low-balling" repair estimates in the hope the customer will take the $$ and spend it rather than get their car repaired. they will NEVER say that out loud, but actions speak louder than words! QFC estimate guidelines were WAY different than when we were in the field. i had friends quit because their conscience wouldn't let them cheat the customers that bad. cutting salaries by eliminating so many employees that they're now operating in a quasi-catastrophe mode, and we're about to lose another few thousand in a couple weeks when everybody that was given notice 2 months ago reach the end of their time.
this place used to care about employees AND customers, now it only cares about dollars. getting rid of qualified American workers and sending everything overseas. employees are nothing but a number on a spread sheet.
we'll see how far that goes when they start losing market share. but it's ok with upper management, they all have the golden parachute that they'll fall back on.

  1. O.S. company to work for, would never recommend working here unless you want to work 50-60 hour weeks only to fall further and further behind in your workload.
