Why do I HATE Chevron? Survey

Lets take a quick survey lads and that is "Why do we hate Chevron". Post your #1 or more of why you hate Chevron so much. No eFfing CVX lovers and treehuggers from SR here please. Keep it to the point.

Here are mine:

# Particularly middle management don't like to be told they're wrong or think differently. From that point on your career is eFFed, even 25 years later. Ask me how I know :) I was left standing after 25 years. No big deal. I am a big boy and I got saved a lot of $$$

# The whole be nice, get along culture. We're here to work not be nice with each others. Be civil, respectful but doesn't mean we need an eFFing group hug every meeting or discussion we have. Is this a California thingie? WTF?

I am totally on board with both your bullet points.

First Point - I was hired to provide outside ways of doing things / suggestions on how to improve the processes / methods. I was hired. I was then told that my suggestions / recommendations was not how Chevron did business. Please let me know why was I was hired!!

Second Point - The Chevron Way is a complete joke. I have worked for multiple managers that are so abusive / belittling. Very very sad. Fix it!!

Nothing is going to change until Chevron is willing to acknowledge these problems
