Does anyone feel that even for non exempt employees, that data/metrics is being way overused to calculate our workload? I feel that front line managers are wondering why we need to track all this and can't just do our work. Plus middle management has no clue what we do so their job is just analyze our "metrics" of our work. In addition they can "coach" us on CI work aka adding more to our plate.

All employees including CSL’s,Tom Wilson, and Glen Shapiro should be required to pick up the telephone and handle some claim files. They can show everybody the proper way to handle a file from start to finish in a timely manner.
The stress is unbearable. Constant calls from customers , rental agencies , agents , shops leaves no time to work your diary . 12 hour days just to keep up is insane . Make us hourly employees .
This data and metric overload and almost impossible to meet requirements and goals just makes the next round of mass layoffs around early second quarter next year easier. They will have so many "low performers" that this sham of an assessment likely will not be needed.
What direction are the Ivory Tower leaders moving this once respected organization. This company named for an all weather tire is running over it's employees and leaving the roadkill for the vultures. The blatant disrespect for what I once called myself "loyal hard working employee" is atrocious. Most well respected successful companies realize without well trained, well prepared, well paid workers you will lose respect and nosedive to failure. The lifeblood of this company "policyholders" are being tossed aside and disrespected like employees. Shameful corporate greed , poor leadership is destroying Allstate. ?? IS ANYONE IN GOOD HANDS ??
Agreed, just awful management at the top. Whoever came up with"Transformative Growth" was a bad idea. Employees have 2-3 times the workload, upset agents because they can't appeal anything, Angy customers because service is worse. I understand cutting costs and wanting to be #1 but they are running employees into the ground and morale is at an all time low. Finally, since this is a multi-year plan ever year have to worry about layoffs. Only silver lining is I'm safe the rest of this year and can enjoy holidays but know more cuts next year
Absolutely! And what really is disappointing is that these bean counters have no idea that bearing the constant strain of uncertainty and high stress has adverse health affects on mind and body. It is not sustainable. But, we all know that is not a real concern. Love it or leave it right Tom? Well, the good people you’ve squatted on will be getting new jobs ASAP and the reputation of this rotten company will continue to fall. Good luck replacing experience with ignorance.
