Is this the new plan for the smaller stores?
Get rid of as many ft SMs & have them replaced with an ASM and one satellite Manager working between a handful of stores?

With the way unemployment is set up due to Covid you should be able to still collect the difference between what you’re making now and what you would be making. Meaning, you should get the difference between the 10 hours from unemployment as under employment as well as they sometimes add additional funds to that. I don’t know how they figured I just know that that’s what’s happening for me. They are paying the difference plus additional funds. They will ask for your gross pay. File for under employment while you can and as soon as you can once you know you’re being dropped those 10 hours. This is stuff you do not wait for the stuff that you pro actively go after. Good luck.
RM is the worst ever. No townhalls since he took over.
All hourly FT staff to be cut to 30 hours a week starting next week. Wonderful!! Can't collect Unemployment for the hours lost because 30 hrs is still FT.
We value each and every associate - but not enough to share our long term strategic planning.
That's on a need to know basis with the smartest people in the room.
THAT'S how you build loyalty to the company!
It seems like a lot of PT ASMs are being hired recently. Some at stores where the SM is the only employee outside of rush and buyback. This could be the company realizes that if the SM gets sick or COVID they will need someone to fill in. Or perhaps the long range plan is to phase out SM’s in lower volume stores. Who knows?
They said this about 2 years ago!
Where did you hear of this plan?
