Windstream acquires companies, keeps the employees around long enough to benefit from whatever the company had to offer Windstream and then lets the employees go by the fistful. People that were let go may be better off by not being under Windstream's grip anymore but it destroys lives and families along the way. It is horrible.

I found another job and Windstream kept paying me for 1yr then laid me off earlier this year and gave me a severance. Nobody saw our manager or director for nearly 3yrs, so half our team did the same thing.
F— WS!! As I was being laid off, I accepted another job with a different company. Ive been in training the whole week! WS has been paying me to working at the other job!! I LOVE IT!!! THANK YOU FOR LAYING ME OFF!!

Yep and people just don't get it. They just keep thinking that WIN will be their Savior and will emerge as a Powerhouse Software company. This site is fun to watch, but sad for the folk's that won't move on. Realistically WIN doesn't care about you.
