I was part of the layoff and this was the worst freaking timing ever. The amount of stress you have caused to thousands is unforgivable. Timing couldn’t have been worse. We’re still in the middle of a pandemic. Change is inevitable but was delaying the news really going to hurt Allstate that much?

As someone who was laid off, but found another position and resigned last week, don't gloat! This was the first round of layoffs. There are more to come. You are safe now, but for how long. I need to be stable. Yall happy like the layoffs can't happen to you. They have a multi year plan to lay folks off, not to mention when you start getting all our pending thats left. Good luck!
Now now Eric, don’t get an olive stuck in your front tooth, let the peasants vent. You’ve managed to ruin all semblances off decency and good reputation this company may have been able to retain. Go back to counting your millions and stay off this site.
People who got laid off shouldnt be on this site complaining about it, don’t you have some job hunting to do?
People who survived the layoff should refrain from gloating about it on this site. Don't you have some work to do?
Agree. Luckily I survived layoffs this round but for thousands they won't have a job after Christmas this year in the middle of a pandemic when most companies have offices closed and employees are working from home
