While the layoffs really s— and we’re all frustrated with senior management, I’d encourage us to have some empathy for the managers/supervisors caught in the middle of this. Many of them genuinely care about their teams and are told they have to “own the outcome” even though they weren’t part of the decisions that led us here. This is pretty awful for them...it would be good for everyone to show them some empathy.
