About a thousand people (plus/minus) retiring every year in the US, say 250 per quarter. Anybody that was going to retire in the 1st half and is eligible will take the offer. There will be about 400-500 people overall.

Well...you heard it here first, folks! One person actually will be taking the voluntary package contrary to expectations.

I’m surprised they got one, but maybe there’s a second out there...somewhere.
