Darren, listen to my advice based on my experience and knowledge working for other successful companies. I worked several years at premier chemical companies who are still very successful and their stock has not dropped, employees are happy. This is what you Darren needs to do ASAP:
1) Fire all SLSs and their bosses and their bosses boss. This will save billions. No other company has all the id–tic SLSs and their layer of bosses.
2) ASAP get rid of the ranking system for performance and do what a mom-n-pop consulting company does in rewarding and evaluating their employees.
3) Reduce EMRE and all organizations like EMRE by 90%, rely of vendors and suppliers more like other successful companies.
4) Sell of Spring campus completely and allow people to work from homes.
5) Get rid of managers as much as possible.
This is great for starters, Darren. Darren you never worked for other companies, if a person lives in a slum with filth all his life, he does not know what is a clean environment. Darren, you and your SLSs, VPs never worked anywhere, it's all inbreeding, you know nothing about other successful companies.
Darren, use these tips, and ExxonMobil will turnaround.
