On the contrary, people will give you their honest opinion on this site. In person, they could be fired. Just because you disagree with them doesn’t make them losers. You are a loser and very dense for writing that. And why are you even on this site anyway then? If you don’t find the site helpful, then get the F—- off it.

I wouldn't ask this lot for any wisdom. The vast majority are just bitter losers. You won't get a straight answer.

Unfortunatly BIG OIL is no longer wanted and now becoming unneeded! I hope COP lays off swiftly and leaves B-Ville flooded with people paid TOO MUCH to sit and stare at spreadsheets! Too many good 'ol boys need to get back to farming!

Acquired staff go first. And as Champ keeps reminding us, COP bought Concho. The COP teams might need upgrading, so some Concho people will be brought on board, but the Burlington staff generally lasted 12 months or a little more since they could take their bonus and leave after that.

Burlington Resources had an enhanced severance package that was available up to a year after close of acquisition. After discovering what a mess we were, many quit and took the package. We lost a lot of great people. That was 15 years ago. We are much more messed up now.
