Reduction in Force. Only corporations as careless as this one systematically fire people weeks before the holiday season during a pandemic.

I guess the Directors that were named gave their post two thumbs down , well their reputation precedes them , they are infamous throughout the industry , have heard my self stories for at least a decade or more about their unprofessional antics but then who has the perfect manager that asks you to do unreasonable things or never loses their temper ? there has to be some somewhere in Level3 century.....or ....imagine being told you must cut head count but do not ever let the people know what you are doing , WHEN CenturyLINK laid off my co-worker they gave him 30 DAYS NOTICE !!
You mean to tell me that 5 yrs ago, when this transformation was announced, 1 key area we were told they are focusing on was bringing the offshore jobs back....by company management and Union officials, was all a lie?!?!? Can't be a lie...the EEI results are showing a great internal culture, accountability and high integrity! Must be having the Democratic Pollsters checking the results on these surveys because the predictions are way out of touch with what is truly going on!! Would rather "skew" your thoughts and tell you how great it is than actually live by it...the great Democratic "group think" messaging does not work on everybody Im afraid.

Fiber GUY . you should have known they would lay you off after they were done with their dirty deeds but now that you are laid off go ahead and put you directors name in a reply here , I will name two WAYNE MILLER , BRUCE CARNEY who are company directors who only keep their jobs be being yes men and yes men and yes men, how they live with themselves year after year is beyond me . Fiber guy i tis not easy to find another job while working full time for LEVEL3 mega minds, now is your chance take your severance and move on !

Keep doing what your your boss told you, just play it off. I don't like seeing anyone lose their job. But when you are undermining other people's job you deserve it. Maybe next job you get, show some loyalty to coworkers instead of management.

They worked me countless hours of overtime qualifying fiber. All for a big "project" they tell me. Then I sneaked into COs like a thief in the night then installed fiber equipment to move the high value customers over to the red. Was told by a director which I would love to name but can't or they would pull this post, if any of the CO guys catch you in there at night just play it off. Tell them you are just doing some Fiber rearrangement for level three and don't answer any more questions. I was barely done with everything they wanted to do and the next day I am gone. No loyalty here at all.
Lumen is too stupid to realize that letting go of quality people is just dumb. Decades of experience and expertise. It’s gonna cost em in the long run! Short term not so much. Greed at its finest caliber!
agree 100% ... must be swamp run . meanwhile spectrum / charter is hiring like crazy while cenyurylink / lumen is RIFing like crazy
they waited until I qualified all the fiber along 600 miles of route 1000's of fiber traces , then as soon as the merger was approved , see ya !

This companies executives would steal their parents RX pr-scrip-ions to get cash! That’s how disconnected and cold they are! Well, the stock holders are doing the same thing to them only it stings much more! Haaa! Couldn’t of happened to nicer people!
