Claim Work Load and Capacity

In the claims town hall today it was mentioned that claim counts are down as a result of the pandemic. As an adjuster, I have to completely disagree. Claims appear to be back to Pre-Covid levels. Is anyone else experiencing an increase in claims. Unfortunately, it seems there is nothing we can do.

Absolute bull. Only someone who has never worked claims would believe that. Half of my team is no longer taking losses. In between the reassigns and my own new claims, I'm drowning.

As soon as I find another job with a comparable salary I'm out.

They tell me it’s slow but VA is nonstop all day, so many abandoned calls and callback requests, maybe claim count overall is down but the amount of employees must also be

The worst is to come, after the ones that decide to retire leave. I'm one that will be gone at end of year. More to follow.

It’s insane. In Express it is back to back every minute of every day now. Con status changes nothing. Morale is horrible. I’m glad to have a job but damn, it’s neverending.

At least Eric Brandt was much more genuine and compassionate in this last town hall.

Ahhh yes. The joys of "Transformative Growth". Lay off thousands and those deemed "safe" doubled up on the work with harder to reach goals and metrics along with poorer morale and more micromanagement. That's Allstate's Stand. Are you in good hands? As someone "saved" in claims I truly envy those laid off and freed from this Hell.

I had my first 60 call day in 3 years, full claim count on a daily basis. Averaging 50 calls outbout/inbound. Never used to have this... ever. Claims certainly aren't down in my neck of the woods

Time for an all out countrywide walk out, maybe a Wed pack up, shut down and go home en mass mid day. Would blow management minds and adjuster organization may follow. Labor protest is the American way when corporate rulers stretch their iron fist onto workers with no respect or dignity.

I agree. They said claim counts are down. So taking on the load for people who will be gone in a month or so will even us out to what we were doing. That’s such BS! Claims are going up and our work is going to double or triple when all the laid off employees are gone. Customer service continues to go down the drain. And if we don’t keep up with all this extra work, we will be fired and they won’t have to offer you a severance package! And don’t even think anyone is getting a raise next year! 😡

I’m an auto claims adjuster, and we are as busy as we have ever been.
I handle esurance claims, and because we are not hiring for that position, it’s just getting busier and busier.
