The CSR organization could be reduced by 75% and noone would notice. Apart from the process catalyst group, they don't deliver anything of any use to the company. The work on carbon capture and algae is just for PR - all of the actual research is done by the 3rd party companies and universities that we pay to do the work. I know - I worked there !

OP - get a life and stop complaining about CSR 24x7. Also, we know you keep replying to your posts making it look like others have a big problem with CSR as well.
The rest of us are not interested in your obsession with CSR. So get lost and let us focus on topics of general interest.

The recurrent 'Oil-boiler'.
Does seem like a personal vendetta.
(That means 'take your meds', OP. Not the likker store kind.).

This keeps surfacing up. Thank you for bringing these to everyones attention. Outsiders sometimes do not know how bad things can be within certain parts of the organization.

The #1 cause of electricity production is humans. How about we just eliminate humanity?

Knowing that the #1 source of carbon emissions comes from electricity production, why don't we just get rid of electricity?

It’s popular to blame the O&G industry as the sole responsible for climate change,
while driving SUVs to the grocery store. Some of the CSR scientists are among the very few actually working on the technologies that could really help the planet. No I don’t work there, but my hopes are with them, and others like them. I don’t know if we can afford them.

Dude give it a rest. You’re here multiple times a week painting everyone in CSR as incompetent with these broad strokes. Move on with your life, I guarantee you’ll be happier.
